How to: Paint engine cover.
I paint plastic parts all the time at work. I'd recommend at least scuffing up the area to be painted, using a red or green scotchbrite pad. Just enough to give the area a flat finish. Then wipe it clean with alcohol. The paint will adhere better.
Hey xbox4414, have you ever tried Carbotech Bobcat brake pads? They're the same price or cheaper than Axxis Ultimates, they're every bit as good and they won't eat up your rotors like the Axxis can. They're a better fit for a street car but will easily pull double duty for the street as well as track use.

Btw, nice job on the engine cover, looks really nice
FYI - those rear pads need a spacer. They compare them to the stock shape and they are much smaller. They don't fit already tried.
LOL this thread is so old it's not even funny. I threw those pads out a long time ago. They are the WORST. I already got a set of Hawk's and now I'm on my second set of Hawk's. Yes I know about the spacer...I got it from GiroDisk....they came on the pad inside the box...
