do a search on TPMS . someone had a simple fix with placing all three in a small 2 inch pvc pipe and the 4th on place on the pipe like in your rim. capped on both ends then fill it with air to 34 lbs and leave it in the trunk. simple , then change rims anytime.
Back then was a zip tie solution, but that doesn't work either.
The tube won`t work. If the car isn`t getting the signal from the TPMS then the warning will be on. The TPMS are powered by kenetic energy, so they need to be in a rotating wheel.

This is what the Tacoma guys are doing.
I assumed that the spare has a sensor too like Toyota's?
If so, once you get your new rims, have then pull the sensors and open up the spare, throw the sensors inside the spare tire and seal it back up with air. Should keep the light from coming on.
I guess secure them to the spare rim so they are not bouncing around freely.

I did, just offering advice for future people that will do the same thing. The only way for the OP if to purchase new sensors.
There's a guy in the Tacoma forums that broke the solder spot for the LED behind the TPS system. Had to take the whole gauge assembly off. And you would have to have drawings to find out which one it is, but is as simple is breaking the solder contact, or removing the LED all together(more involved).

Even if i accelerate hard, and the warning is not there anymore/disabled the yellow warning/ Will come back .
out of curiosity why aren't people just putting them in the new wheels? you can just take the sensors out of the stock wheels and put them in the aftermarket wheels. we've done it for over 3 years at our shop with no issues.
the real ? to this is, can you do it with the tire on or not. if so how diffcult is it
