disabling daytime running lights?
Alright so I don't wanna sound stupid, but I have everything I need and have created the bypass for my 07 Outlander LS. I don't wanna sound stupid here, but I wanna make sure I am doing this right. Where is the parking lot hot wire that the trigger wire goes to? and do I need to splice into it? Thanks

Im gonna feel like a noob asking this. When I pulled my headlights out to black them out, after reinstallation, my right DRL was not working, so I just unplugged the secondary wiring harness from the back of the headlamp to turn the driver's side off as well. The only thing uglier then two DRL's is one DRL.
I havent noticed any issues, only that the DRL went off.. my low beams and high beams work fine, blinkers too. Am I hurting anything with that unplugged?

non-SSS do not have a dedicated drl bulb.
the drl is the headlight bulb operating at reduced voltage
Hey on my 2010 GTS Lancer it was a simple fuse I figured out thru "all date" I just took it off n no problem cause I had HID fog's and stock 4100k or 4200k stock HID halogen lenses with the adjustable light height.
Any one know about a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander,i think it's ES the very base model with hub caps lol
How do u take the Day Light's off. Is it a fuse just like the well 2010 Lancer GTS?

Hi. Sorry I'm a complete noobie. I recently got a 08 Lancer GTS. Trying to put on HIDs as my first "mod" lol. I've read a bunch on this but understand very little of what everyone is saying. I've seen 07outty's post on the fuse box, but I don't really understand what's going on. Could somebody please help me get started? Everyone needs to start somewhere right. Thanks appreciate it.
inside the main fuse box there is a "finned" relay. that is the headlights.
i took a normal relay ( that is what you see with the 4 wires connected to it )
..and placed it in an open area of the fuse box.....it is NOT plugged in.
trigger wire goes to "parking light" hot wire
green just goes to chassis ground.
the other two will plug in to the two slots that the stock relay was plugged in to.

I switched from oem halogen to oem hid headlights. Does anyone know how I can get the drl to work properly on the new headlights?
my drl is still the low beam and the 1156 bulbs on the new headlights are off.
