Where to tap for gauge lighting

I've tried every trick I have found on the forums, but Im sure I missed the golden post

I need illumination for my boost gauge that turns off when I remove the key. Swear Ive tried every trick Ive found searching the forums, but maybe someone can point me to what I missed.

I tapped into the power socket in front of the shifter. It's easy to take apart the middle console to get underneath there. You'll need to route your gauge's wires into that area under the console, then just splice into the positive and negative wires going into the socket. The gauge lights turn on and off with the ignition. Works very well.
