You'll love the ETS intake, I guarantee it. Very sturdy, biggest filter (that i know of), bolts all the way to the turbo inlet elbow (gets rid of the flimsy turbo inlet plastic). Moves the diverter valve to an appropriate position. And you can hear the DV pretty clearly.

Thanks for the advice. What is more appropriate of the DV position with the ETS over stock? Also, does anyone have experience with the K&N system? Its $75 more than the ETS and comes with an UICP...

It's just easier to get to, closer to the licp to recirculate. I have used or seen the K&N, I think gates had it at one time, but he has an ams cold air intake now.

Do yourself a favor and don't get a HKS bov. They are horrible. This is coming from a HKS fanboi.

I don't recommend VTA. But this is the $1000000 question. What's wrong with the stock bov? Unless you're pushing some mad amount of boost (27+ psi), there isn't a reason to ditch it. You can even crush it and make it hold even more.

Crushing the bov helps hold more boost...

A decent diagram. Don't use wrenches like others. Do it with precision. I also don't recommend doing this without a tune and somebody that knows what they're doing.

I'm running my synapse BOV with this intake and it sounds/looks awesome. The BOV placement with this intake is soooo clean looking!! Especially the Synapse because of how it sits!
