I just installed a Type B on my car this weekend. I had zero issues with the fitment and the install was very easy.

The said they would be out of them for a week or two, doesn't explain why they're not responding but just a heads up.

Odd. They showed in stock on their website and on special...
Maybe I'll look for another supplier.

Hey guys, don't mean to bump an old thread, but I just got my Nisei 1 pc UICP installed yesterday. I think I tightened the crap outta those clamps, I just wanna make sure I don't have a boost leak. I noticed after doing this, when my turbo spools it sounds more of a high pitched hiss compared to the stock one. If anything I think I hear my turbo spooling louder than before. I'm hoping this is an indication that I don't have a boost leak right? I guess how can you tell that you have a boost leak?

I just got done installing my UICP. I have a recommendation for tightening the clamps. I used a flexible drill extension and set the clutch on my drill to a lower setting. It tighten them all down quickly. I would have been up all night tightening the front intercooler clamp by hand. You also need deep sockets. If you did it with normal sockets, then you have not tightened them down hard enough. I also recommend taking your time and feeling for the lip on the pipes. Make sure the clamps are 100% off the raise lip of the pipe. You do not want any part of the clamp pressing down on that lip. I also really pushed the hose onto the turbo outlet deep so that no part of the hose was blocking the pipe coming off the turbo.

I took mine for a little spin and I noticed it being much more responsive....I like that!
