gromet, like a big omega symbol, a peg on the spoiler sits in it

come on guys! no everybody have an extra $300 a month to burn. Gts is a good decent car. go for your wing budy!

 

il try to get one tonight, but i destroyed the original gromet thing when i took the wing off. the gromet sits in the trunk when the wings removed, like a rubber cup. i did not want that showing so i took a screwdriver and just pryed it out so i wont have any pictures of the actual piece. just the hole where it was. il see if i can find a picture of the piece.

 

Can someone post a picture of the hole circled in red without covers up close please?

You need the same info I want to install your tall wing.

did you get all the mounting hardware as well? if you did you should be able to figure it out.

 

Ok, well I just installed a tall wing on my car yesterday afternoon, and the inner bolt was not installed. On an evo with the tall wing there is a nut welded into the body that catches the nut, and it is covered by metal on the inner portion of the trunk. So if want to put a bolt on there you need to figure out a way to squeeze a nut in there. Here are some pics. And if you look on the passenger side there is not even a place to squeeze your hand inside, so just forget about that last inner bolt.

I do it and seems like is good just with the bolt, nut and the guide so i dont need to install the other bolt under the cap.

Bighec a request for you...You can take a pic for the base of the wing i notice a space between the trunk and the bottom part of the wing.
