That's nice, I guess if I put the "big" wing on mine, I'm pretending to have the SSS package?

hahaha, that is so true, in canada we do not get the sss package, so if you want the manual transmission you get the gsr base, so you have to buy the big wing if you like the look, that does not mean you are trying to make your car look like another model, its just that some people like certain looks over other people, and if you are going for oem quality then why not put the high wing on

I'm about to install the big spoiler on my GSR with no SSS. Wish me luck, I suck at DIY projects ha ha ha ha.

I'd like to see how it goes as well. I just got my high spoiler today. I really don't trust myself drilling holes onto my trunk myself, so I'm just gonna take it to a shop to get it done. But good luck with the install dude.

Do you have to need to drill 3rd extra hole in GSR to fit the big SSS spoiler??????

Thanks

It wasn't too bad but I can't recommend doing it without a lot of tools or car install experience. My dad helped me and we did it at his bodyshop. We did end up using a bunch of different tools.

The minimum requirement is 2 new holes drilled, but I drilled 4 new ones. If you put some double sided tape or epoxy down I think you could get by without doing the third hole. We used a "one way screw" for the 3rd hole instead of a nut and bolt and filled the hole with epoxy as well.

I just drill one hole, mine is just with 2 bolts i do not drill the hole for the one under the cap cover and use epoxy to cover the hole of the small wing.

Swap the whole lid
I have a GSR which had the tall wing but traded wings with a GTS. We just swapped the entire trunk lid with the wing already attached. Everything bolts right up that way. No annoying holes to drill or fill.
