I seem to hear it outside when I have my radio down... it's like it's just on the other side of the firewall. on the passenger side beyond the glovebox.

 

I had inside glove box rattle for awhile now, even brought it to dealer, they found nothing, check and inpect everything on the location you hear it from, if everything is tight, then its another day in evo paradise

 

mine rattles but i think its on the passenger airbag area .... but i'm not sure i havent got the time yet to sound test tone mode....

 

i've always thought mine was from that airbag area too.. but my wife followed the noise and located it from the shifter / ebreak area.

 

I found this recently. It fixed my noise/rattle. If you heard "thud thud" noise somewhere near right passenger side (side airbag) You probably having the same noise I did. It's outside of the car, top right corner. Just spray little WD40 there, the noise is gone. But WD40 will get wash away in rain. I spray little tire shine stuff there (not on paint, not galss) just that plastic and rubber thing at the corner. Through heavy rain and wash 1 time since then, noise havn't come back.

a/c control rattle, no fix anywhere for them. Drives me crazy when i hit 3000rpms, granted i have an ets v2 regular exhaust with tp. Their must be a way to fix the rattle without buying a new exhaust LOl
