There are instructions on the internet on how to build a Hydrogen nuclear bomb, but it does not mean that everyone who reads it is qualified or has the tools nor the mean, nor the experience and mechanical ability to build one.

holy crap that seems extremely time consuming. But huge thumbs up on the writeup. Seems extremely well documented and written.

I was gonna say.... I remember seeing X's with the transmission still mounted to do a clutch replacement.

To the OP: was it a matter of choice to remove the entire transmission or was it required since you were only working with jack-stands and not a lift?

Great write up!

Just a note on disconnecting batteries. Never disconnect the positive terminal of the battery first. If you need to disconnect the battery, always disconnect the negative first. If you don't disconnect the negative terminal first and you touch anything metal in the car with the wrench when you are disconnecting the positive terminal, you will short the battery to ground and your wrench will become a welding rod.

If you need to disconnect power just disconnect the negative terminal. This breaks the circuit so you don't need to remove the positive terminal.

Will probably take you 8-10 hours the first time yo do it. IT does get faster the more you do.
