The o2 was 4 hours. I'm glad I paid to have this done.

Not a bad write-up, but there's some time-savings to be had.
If you want to save some time:

-Axles don't need to come out. You can pull them off the t-case/trans, then swing the wheel hub outward so the axles can swing under the control arms to sit behind the control arms. That keeps them out of the way. You'll need to remove a small bolt securing the wheel speed sensor wire to the wheel well for clearance.

-Transfer case does not need to come out. This will save a ton of time. Once it's unbolted, you can push it off to the passenger side of the car and secure it with a locking strap. This also means you don't have to remove the drive shaft from the back of it or remove the ACD line.
If you do remove the ACD line YOU MUST BLEED THE ACD SYSTEM after the line is reconnected. I don't care if you clamp a hose, you're still getting air in the system after the clamp. The clamp will, however, help speed up your bleeding later.

Some notes:
-I left all of the intercooler piping in place, except the BOV. I unhooked it and stuffed it in front of the IM.
-did not pull the front bumper off
-left o2 housing in place, but did pull downpipe (this how-to shows the MAP 1-piece o2-elim downpipe, that's prolly why it reads like that)
-we did not disconnect the driveshaft
-we did not fully remove the transfer case, it sits nicely on the frame w/o wrestling it out
-we dropped the subframe about 1" and hung it on its mounting bolts for the final 1" of clearance to get the trans free.

what is the did with the slide hammer and what are you pulling out exactly?

ACD is in the transfer case and the AYC is in the rear diff?

Whats the deal with pinching the acd line to the transfer case out? If you take the transfer case out that means you have to un-hook the acd line. If you do that you'll get air inside of it regardless if your pinch it or not.

The slide hammer is used to remove the output shaft. It runs though the transfer case and trans. The output shaft has a threaded hole so you can thread the end of the slide hammer in. We welded a bolt to a small slide hammer

We do not remove the transfer case. You can move it to the side and secure it away with a strap.
