Quote: BTW, the lights LOOK good! You sprayed the lens though right? I've been pulled over by cops / chp w/ way too much time on their hands too many times. I'm done w/ that! I try to stay as OEM looking as possible on anything that even COULD be illegal! When I was a kid I got pulled over 3 times in one week for BS stuff like "Hyper white light bulbs", tint, and stereo too loud.

thank u for the kind words, i did mine EXACTLY as was laid out by this awesome write up other than taping off the orange reflector and leaving that stock.

Did mine the other day on my WW X. I blacked out the reflector too and I think it looks cleaner that way.

Does anyone have pics w/ the white reflective tape? And just out of curiosity why use Plastidip instead of spray paint?

no prep work needed. fake flaky chrome isnt the best surface to spray paint.

I did this and tried the white reflective tape, but I didn't like it so I pulled the whole thing apart again and took it off. Now it's just amber and I'm much happier w/ how it looks and less worried about cops giving me a hard time. I'll post some pics soon of my before and after on the PB.

... I had the mod bug bad but was on a tight budget so that's what I've done so far. Also debadged most of the emblems.

Its very very easy as long as you can follow directions and have 3/4 of a day to spare with the car undriveable

The same glue that binds the Plastic and headlamp together.
