just wanted to add when your doing the side marker peice the orange reflector and the small parking light lense are removable there small clips holding them in place if your careful you can remove them so you can plasti dip the side marker chrome bit with out having to mask anything
I had the oven ON the entire time while they were baking. At the beginning you preheat it for 200 degrees, takes about 6-8 minutes for a regular oven to reach that temp. Once it preheats put your headlight in. 30 minutes later its ready to come out. Peel off the clear plastic covering within 5 minutes of taking it out or you'll have to throw it back in to loosen the seal.
Once you've done all your painting and you've got the clear plastic screwed back on the front, place them back in your preheated oven at 200 degrees. Take them out 10 minutes later, tighten the screws a bit, put them back in for 10, tighten the screws yet again but don't break the plastic they go into. Throw them in for a final 10 minutes and once that is up take them out and fold the black tabs over and if necessary use your clamps to pull the seams together, OR just use your own elbow grease. I would wait maybe an hour or until the lights are cold to the touch before you install them on your vehicle.

Referring to the screws that hold the clear plastic headlight cover to the actual headlight housing. They completely surround the headlight on the outside.
is there anyone having leaking issues? I really want to do this but every single shop Ive spoken to tells me to not do it they all say ill have issues in the end? also what is everyone using to paint theres with?
