Just did this last night...and i'd like to say thank you to the OP. Went over to Michael's picked up some felt...quick and easy. Definitely worth the $1!

just finished putting on the presto felt on my glove box. defintely a tighter fit. but i like it. it feels more solid. most importantly no more rattles. but i have not went on my test drive yet.

Thanks for the information. I just recently purchased my evo and started noticing rattling coming from the glove box. The DIY fix seems easy and effective.

i have a center dash rattle that's coming during decelaration. anyone know a quick fix for this?

what did you do with the damper/plunger on the right side of the glove box. mine gets loose every now and then and fall off. is there a lock that i can buy to secure it in place?
