Any suggestions for door rattles?? Since it only happens at random times, I'm still not 100% sure where the door noise is coming from exactly. Putting pressure on the door skin and trim pieces doesn't seem to help, and the rattle sounds kinda like a "springy" sound coming from the area between the door handle and B pillar.
If you're talking about the "bzzzzzzzzzzt bzzzzzzzzzt" noise inside the door that almost sounds like it's coming from inside the lower portion of the b-pillar, I was able to fix it on my car (was only happening on the passenger side.) The noise was coming from a metal rod that goes from the outside handle to the latch. I could also hear it if I tapped the outside of the door below the handle.
If you remove the door panel and plastic liner, you can feel around inside and find it. Mine was very loose. I used a piece of foam about 3"x3"x3" and wedged it between the rod and the inside of the door. All gone!
While I had the door panel off, I also used some rubber tape on all the connection points and felt tape (same stuff from post #1) between the panel and the shiny dark grey trim piece. The door has been very quiet ever since!
Next for me is the rear deck...

I'm debating on making a sticky for the "ultimate rattle tracker". I may steal some of the info out of here.

thanks to the OP for this post. my glovebox started rattling about a month after i got the car. pretty annoying everytime you hit a bump to hear the rattle. fixed it with the sticky backed felt as suggested. always helpful to see a "how to" so i didn't break something or other trying to get the glovebox out.

Yup. Did this fix, and have not heard a rattle from the glove box since.

Thank you to the OP for this thread. Easy to follow directions and great photos. I didn't have a rattle yet, as the car is brand new, but didn't like the "cheap" sound/feel the glovebox had when you closed it. This fix makes it sound/feel more solid when you close it. Great part is it only took a few minutes and cost about $2 for the felt. Great cheap and easy thing to do.

Would recommend to everyone, even if you don't have a glovebox rattle yet.
