How-To: ETS Intake Install

Hey guys, I received my ETS intake this evening but I noticed it didn't come with any directions. I was able to put it together from the pictures on the website, but I was wondering if there are any official directions to make sure everything is right and what I need to remove in the car - or at least a guide somewhere.

Just for clarification it is this one: http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/M...duct_info.html

I saw the other thread with some pictures of the intake and I'm sure I could probably figure it all out once I look at the car in the morning, but I always like to be 100% sure.

I tried to install it this morning but ran out of time, I think the rubber hose they sent me that goes from the BOV to the engine block or whatever is too small?

At least they sent you a rubber hose. Had to make a run to oreillys.

Going to try to give this another try tomorrow. Anyone have any tips on how to make sure the intake is secure on the turbo - or better yet a better way to connect it there. I was having a tough time getting it on there and trying to tighten up the clamp since its so cramped in there.

Also would advance auto/autozone have one of those small hoses? What size would I need to ask for?

im also intrested in what else im going to have to get to install this. plan on ordering it tomorrow. from the pics on the site it says you get the rubber black hose for the blow off valve. but from the pics it also looks like you only get one blue tube, the piece that connects the BV to the intake bung. but i see in your pic evo x 6950 that you have two of them. did it come with both? im assuming it does. thanks guys

hjahahahaha that is awesome. We love the entire setup on evox's. It seems to be the most complete best fitting kit we have used and has shown GREAT improvements in all areas over OEM and most aftermarket kits

yours looks great btw, hope you are happy with everything

thanks. i was looking at older pics i think of the system. cause in those ones, there was only one pipe to connect to the intake bung, ( i guess you had to use the stock piping to go to the licp. and it doesnt show the heat shield in the pics either, or say it comes with the shield. thanks again man!
