Racing seats hold you better in turns and are a ton lighter. If you're not doing anything competitive, it doesn't matter too much.

 

remember though, if you do not have the pressure plate custom mounted back onto the passenger seat, the SES light will come up no matter what.

 

this all sounds pretty damn complicated -

I'm replacing my stock seats with recaro sport topline seats and was wondering if anyone can recommend an installer in the new york/tri-state area who can take care of the SRS/weight plate problems?

Also, if the SRS light is on, does that mean the other airbags will not work?
