Drilling through Firewall

Where is a good place to drill thru the firewall?

I know about the typical places.
-thru the fender,
- the main rubber grommet near the drive side,
- the nearly impossible to access grommet on the passenger side.

I simply want to drill through a spot. Who else has done this, can you post some pics of where you did it?

(I couldn't find the installation request sub-forum)

There is no need to drill. There are two excellent options available -

1) passenger foot well
2) driver side (where you swing your legs out - on the side sill) from there you route behind the right fender plastic and then you go up to the corner of the engine bay.

#1 I used for A/F
#2 I used for boost and shift lights.

Yup, I'm aware of the fender one, as mentioned in my post, and would rather not go that route. Where is the passenger footwell one?? I only know of that one that's tucked in the far passenger corner, that comes out behind the glovebox.

Could you post a pic of where the footwell one is. (Or are we talking the same one?)

there is a massive amount of room on the passenger side if you actually needed to ever drill, but if you're planning on just running small gauge wires into the engine compartment it's easiest to get a grommet punch and go through the main grommet to the right and up of the gas pedal.
