MR touring rear wing removal ?

Has anyone removed the small trunk lip? I see the two nuts that hold the lip down, but there must be some strong adhesive because I could not pull it off. I like to install the c/f duckbill trunk spoiler.

pretty sure it is double sided sticky tape!! Most of the time it will pull off with some force, but you can use a heat gun as well to soften it up!

It is bolted down in 3 locations. You will have to remove the fasteners from inside the trunklid.

The next trick will be installing my Aeromotions R2 wing on the trunk with the lip spoiler still there... Looks like I'll have to either remove the lip spoiler or swap trunks with someone. I'll have to see what kind of holes I would end up with if I remove it.

Maybe the other option is to trim the Aeromotions bases so that they don't extend to the edge of the trunk so both can be in place at the same time. Choices, choices...

I am also working with Aeromotions for the Evo X SE which has the trunk lip, I would like to keep the factory trunk lip as well so we will see what can be done when the wing arrives. Pete
