works underhood shifter bushing

hey guys, so i installed the works polyurethane underhood shifter bushings in my car and the bigger diameter one always manages to pop out... the cotter pin seems to just go right through after a while. any suggestions as to what i should do to correct this? ive searched and i just found reviews on it not actual installations and the instructions works gives isnt the most detailed...thanks in advance

is the pin too small? try getting one that fits tighter possibly?

well did u put the metal washer from the old bushing back on top because i think thats why it keeps popping out... i didnt put it back on because i couldnt get the cotter pin in with the washer on it

Email works, I had the same issue and there is a way to insert the bushings an it sandwiches the rubber to stay in place, no issues since.
