EBAY underhood shifter bushings
EBAY underhood shifter bushings
I installed the brass underhood bushings, and although they are a ***** to get on (had to sand the smaller one down a bit), they work great. I believe they are about $10 cheaper than anywhere else as well.
My install was terrible as well. Lost one of the clips and the shaft select bush was horrible to get off.
With those, a short shifter, and urethane shifter base bushings each shift is like cutting through a can with a Ginsu knife, but I love it. It's solid, quick, and confident going through the gears.

The short shifter I have hasn't altered the base at all. I'm aware of Kartboy and Lancershop, but that's it. Is there another vendor out there for these base bushings?
RRE has them for $13.

Otherwise, you'll have to look for part #5.1102G/5.1102R wherever Energy Suspension goods are sold.
I got mine off eBay.
