Clean gauge mounting solutions. Ideas please.
got a few pm's on how this is different. sorry the orig was too dark to tell. I had to tighten them after my auto-x today, so I took some better pics while the cover was off
You can see how I took the gauge cups themselves and attached it to the vertical wall of the cover
anyone interested can pm for the few tips you'll need to get this to fit and stay properly. definitely prefer this over the original Perrin pod design - the center bridge piece cracks easily if you don't line up your holes perfectly - the plastic will always be under some stress; combined with heat, it will eventually crack. I found out this method once mine did on my Ralliart. Loved it so I bought just the gauge cups used off a member (the user had a broken center-piece too) and did it again

So where can you get those gauge cups?
PLX DM-100. 1 oled multidisplay gauge. I've researched far and wide and this is the best looking and functioning thing I've found.

Here's a super ****ty quality picture of my setup...
I made an aluminum plate that I covered with the same alcantara as the shift boot and changed the gauge needle color to blue...I really like the looks it actually seems likes it belongs there...I didn't like the carbon look and the fitment\quality issues with the agency power (and the price)

I'll make a thread showing my whole interior when I get the time (with updated pics and more detailed ones of the gauges)...but for building this it's very simple.
I can't really post a guide since I have access to a machine shop and used tools people usually don't have access too...but it's not a complicated part you can do it with a drill and file easily if you put in a bit of time...the holes get covered by the gauges so no need to make them perfect...
It's only a sheet of aluminum bent on each side and because of the wedge in the plastic you don't need to attach it to anything...to bend the aluminum just use 2x4's and clamps or something like that...

I made me an easy way to see all motor datas.
I put an BLITZ R-VITDS in.
It conecsts with OBD and show all data on MMCS.
You can see 7 different datas on one screen. And change between about 50 different datas.
Its not cheap but the easiest way.
