HELP MMCS install question

I am in the middle of my MMCS swap and everything was going fine until I came to the hazards. I need to take them off and install them on the MMCS bezel. I was able to unscrew, unharness, and pop off the hazed switch panel but there is a small wire band on the right side which goes up into the oem face plate / control. Am I just supposed to pull that out some how? It doesn't seam like I should. Do I need to get the hazard switch from the guy I bought all the rest of the MMCS pieces from?

Please help as I have my dash dismantled right now.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like that band of wires with the white plug should just pull out of the black port on the hazard's circuit board.

Not 100% sure, so don't break it!

I'll see if I can find any info..

Now, you should be able to see the double din head unit thats hidden behind the pretty dash bezel. (it is held by 4 phillips screws).

Thanks but I did that. The wiring harness unclipped like it should. This is a separate wire that appears to be directly wired between the radio controls and the hazard control .

Actually, as I write this I think I know what it is. There is no wire harness to the radio face plate so it must go through the hazard. Can anyone confirm?

So question is if I cut it obviously the radio face plate us useless but will it then work separately with the MMCS set up without issues. HMMMMM

Not sure.. but I'd definitely try prying it out of its connector again, before cutting it.

Lots of luck man!

Ok I got it. IT took some guts and at first I thought I broke it. But the wire does pull out of the hazard chip board (or what ever you want to call it) So if any one else is worried just be careful and have some guts.

AFD thanks for the courage. HAHAHA
