looked at all the threads about how to remove the front bumper, but havent seen any on removing the grille from the bumper. trying to completely cut out the mitsubishi badge.. ive seen a couple of x's that have done it, any ideas of what to use to fill the future hole?

 

After you remove the bumper and grille (I'd tell you how, but I've thrown away the instructions) there will be a frame for the emblem that has to be removed. I taped off thenends of the frame and used a dremel tool to cut it almost flush. Afterwards i took some fine grit sand paper and sanded it down so it was smooth. The upper portion will be the only cut visible after you remove it since the grille will cover the lower portion. When I installed the CF grille w/ emblem delete I just left the hole there. The only way to see it is if you get down and look up at it and it's really not noticeable at all.
