Downloaded and Donated!

Thanks for the work! Can't wait to try it tonight after work!

(Might be worth noting, Hak, on the OP that the donations are done in British pounds, not dollars).

Installed great!

That said, any chance you could update the OP with exactly what this changes? Does it just unlock the ability to watch DVD's while driving?

Anything else?

Make sure you downloaded 00007004

did you burn it on a mac?

try burning it on a windows computer using poweriso trial or imgburn (free)

make sure you burn it onto a cd-r or cd-rw

Yes I downloaded the newest. Burned it on a PC. Of course it was a CD-R. I used Windows 7 drag and burn through just the folder where I think I went wrong. Using a diff program next time.

its not working for me. When I insert the disc into the drive it says, "please check disc." Obviously I'm doing it wrong.

This is the file name after winrar and dragged into PowerISO: NR261UM.00007004.NODVD.ISO
Then I burn it into a CD-R.
WTH am I doing wrong?

Edit: Well I cant get it to work so I'll just try tomorrow

You need winrar to unzip the file. get it here:

32-bit: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar420.exe
64-bit: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-420.exe

Once you install winrar, the file you downloaded from navhack should be a .rar file. Right-click on it and click on "Extract Files"

If you have Windows 7, you do not even need cd/dvd burning software. Simply right-click on the .iso file that is left from the un-rar process above, and click "Burn Disc Image."

so I followed everything to the point, but still got the check disk error.

1. Downloaded "NR261UM.00007004.NODVD.ISO"
2. Extracted to desktop via WinRar.
3. Used Win7 burn iso feature.
4. Pop disk in, no dice.

Otaku I will donate as soon as its working!

P.S. Are you actually an Otaku? What do you read/watch?

Cheers!

Hrmm..
Simple things first :
Did you burn a CD or a DVD ?
What make are they ? There have been reports of problems with cheap types.
If you read the CD in your computer, what do you see on it ?

And yes, I am Otaku, just not the anime kind ..

I double click on the .ISO file and I can see the loader. I'm using TDK CD-R to burn the image on the disk. I don't know what I'm doing wrong?!

when working IT you forget how sometimes people don't know how to do things. I totally forgot about letting people know they have to extract the rar first. here is a video I made

dont hide annotations

if you have windows 7 just use the windows 7 Windows Disc Image Burner, no need for poweriso.

to change it to Windows Disc Image Burner, do this AFTER extracting the .RAR (if you watch youtube video its right after you open the new folder that has the .iso)

right click on that file and hit properties.
where it says "open with" change it to Windows Disc Image Burner.
then keep watching the youtube video and you will see similarities
