DRLs in Evo X GSR

Hi, i have the very base model evo x gsr. i have to say i love the look of the amber drls. i so desperately want them in my car, does anyone out there know of a way to do it yourself whether its just running a wire between two spots in the fuse box or if theres a kit for this or do i have to buy new head lights. any insight/write-ups/how-to's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I believe to my knowledge the DRLs are the high beams in the base GSR X. Are you saying you want the DRLs to be amber colored? The only way to do that is going to be replacing the bulb. On the Projector headlamps there are actually DRL bulbs, which is a little different of a setup then the non projector headlamps.

I have an 08 SSS GSR - the DRLs are what look like to be in the high beam position. The easiest way would be get DRLs would be to wire those lights to ACC power, so when the car is turned on, those lights will as well.

I know there is a delay from when I turn on the car and start it, then the DRLs appear. Probably relay controlled.

use amber bulbs for color change. or 300K HIDs
