Love the car and the color. I have to say white evo's look a little better in pictures.... However I have seen many up close and my friend has a white evo and it looks very plain/bland compared to my silver. The silver just has that nice metallic sparkle(especially at night under some kind of light) that makes it look better in my opinion... I have to say I was more impressed with the GG color on the X, anyone else think that?

The metallic colors show off the features more, and make a car look better than what it really is sometimes. At first when I say the gg color I though it waqs real nice on a mr but it was because of the hype, later on I didnt like it anymore so you have to be careful what color you choose and not go along with the hype just because theirs a new color out. Cause after the hype is over things look bad.

First off congrats on the purchase. I'm very curious to hear about your results after AutoXing it...as well as your comparisons with your VIII.

I think there's a lot of people here who are fixated on the fact you paid $40k and they're missing the point it was the "out the door" price. You mentioned several times you paid MSRP ($38.6k). Your GSR is loaded so that's expected.

To all the clueless souls...a base X GSR starts at $33k, so you can get all the same performance for less money. Either way it's the OP's money and if he wants to spend nearly $40k for a non-MR then it's his business.

Personally I can see myself in a WW X GSR with Navi and maybe the upgraded stereo system (Rockford Fosgate). I can't seem to get a test drive of the X and I really like my WW IX RS so I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

It won't be long before you can get a set of HID's for it! And after that, get better components and a small amp to push them! Problem solved for a lot less than you'd pay from the factory!

The factory RF sound system sounds very good and I'm willing to bet that most thieves won't bother with it being that it's an OEM system.

Putting the two cars side by side really makes the X look so much nicer. I'm liking the X more and more. I might just have to drop some cash on one too....

Congrats on your purchase, the aero kit is one of the nicest factory kits I've seen - very clean.

yo drag, that silver x is hot.

the side by side shots of the x and the 8 shows how outdated the 8 looks.

i might just get a silver x mr instead of a phantom black x mr.
