Headlights = 6000K, 9006.
Fog lights = 8000K, H11.

Camara makes the headlights look a little purple.
Let me know what you guys think.

can someone tell me why people go with that Ricey blue color. Why not go with like a standerd color like most cars at 4300k-4500k? Does the 6000k+ give out more light to compensate for the whole light shining?

Yes it does, but i think the problem is that we need to get bixenon kits for the headlights which i screwed up on. I'll just be leaving them on all the time or remove the fuse for DRL.

6000k are better on my eyes. i'm practically blind!!

plus the camara makes them look more blue than what they areally are.

How much for the HID Fog Light kit? Did it come with the slim ballast?

Where did you mount the balast?

Thanks.

$85 for the fogs. Its a digital slim ballast, about the size of a dredit card. You can fit this thing anywhere because of its size. There's plenty of spots within the bumper next to the fog light housing to mount the ballast. The kit comes with two way tape.

Did you use a D2R type bulb or a D2S? If you used a D2S bulb you need to change to a D2R. The D2S is specifically designed for projector based housings and a D2R are for the type of housing you currently have (reflector based). They look nice overall! They appear to be non projector, am I correct?

why would they do that?

if your headlight is off then you should have your drls (inside of the headlight) on, then you flip the headlight on (outside of the headlight), bam hids are on and drl off, perhaps when you put high beams on which come from same bulb with having only low beam hid kit, that would cause problems, am i off base here?
