hello evo community,
since no one imputted me on my last post, i assume that no one else had what i wanted. or no one bought those carbon pieces yet.

i am hesitant to buy anything that no one really purchased yet for obvious reasons. but maybe i should and be one of the first to do so, but, i dont wana blow my money unless i have to.

anyhoo, i googled carbon engine covers and nothing significant came up. except for ebay crap which i am never buying from.

then i googled, racing elegance cause the other guy's post gave the name brand or something but www.racingelegance.com doesn't have a phone number that works... (go figure), but, this dude popped up. www.evoxtuning.com, but he's not a shop or he's a real shop and don't want to bother with dress ups as much as air filters.

CF in the engine bay is just a waste IMO.

 

They've got good looking parts, good weaves w/their carbon. I don't see why you wouldn't want to buy anything?!?

 

what about the CF rear diffuser on evoxtuning.com? that looks coo, kinda pricy tho...

 

with all the other carbon fiber. make one for the intake scoop and cover that filter , that would be nice.

 

i was thinking the same about the filter cover but it'd be difficult to fabricate a piece that wasn't flexible...

also i can't friggin contact no one about these parts hahahaa thats why i haven't bought yet!!!!!

thanks fellas. i agree, some might be overkill or too much, but wat the hell. i like carbon look.

 

How often do you expect to have your hood popped open? CF is all show, so if it's under the hood that kind of defeats the purpose...
