looking for a good bra for my X

Just found out the nice people at Colgan aren't yet making a bra for the Evo X. I'm talking about a black vinyl covering with felt on the back and tabs that attach the bra to the front of the car. I'm not interested in any clear bra treatment, so please save that for another thread.

I did a search on here but didn't find anything except clear bra info.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to buy a good bra for the Evo X? Please list the actual website or 800 number. Thanks!

XPEL kit clear bra kit....cheap and looks great (because you don't see it). You do need a professional to install though.

Ugh, those old-skool vinyl bras do more damage than they do any good, and look terrible doing it. Sorry, don't think anyone makes one for the Evo, and if they did, I don't know why anyone in their right mind would buy one.

Start looking here I suppose?

I've got a new Mitsu one for the X. It was installed once for pictures then put back in the box. They call it a mask, it's two pieces: one for the hood and one for hte front bumper cover area. Black, $80/shipped.

Hey, mullets rule! Q15H you've got a PM, thanks. Why a car bra and not a clear bra, you ask? I'm looking for the temporary extra protection a thick vinyl bra with soft felt backing will provide. My friends and I go "touring" on country roads where lots of rocks get kicked up as we follow each other through the twisties. I've seen those rocks tear up clear bras and they look like crap. But take the vinyl bra off after a day of hard driving, wash the car, and it's showroom fresh!

A good quality vinyl bra that is properly fitted will not damage the car, provided it is removed after a day or two. The key is to have a tight fit, and not to allow dirt to build up under the bra.

Q15H, thanks for a good deal on a nice new bra! It arrived today and looks great. I'll give you a positive seller rating if I can.

Okay I tried to leave you positive feedback, but it says "the deal URL is invalid" probably because it wasn't in the for sale section. Sorry.

It was a very smooth transaction and I thank you for the fast service.
