Thanks dude

Oh yeah, I remember those threads... TSX projectors produce much better results than CT9A projectors. The only knit picking I have is that TSX projectors have 2.5" lenses while CT9A ones are 3". They sort of look too small for the low beam housing coz you can see the gap around the projectors...

If the projector is trimmed to bare minimum, it will fit. I have grown wiser since fitting these. If I could it again, id do it differently and smarter
In a sense I will coz I still have to do the LHS.

Ill send you a PM on EvoOZ

I must be remembering wrong. Maybe it was the sheer cost of having that person do the FX35 lights that turned me off to them. It'd be nice to have bi-xenon though.

I used the OEM CZ4A Bi-Xenon projector which is made by: HELLA
They also make the same projectors for high end vehicles:
- Mercedes E55
- BMW E60 M5's

Next time youre at the lights beside an E60 M5, wind the window down and start conversation. Tell the driver that yous are running the same projectors. When the lights go green smoke him off the line

Are these installed in the standard OEM reflector housing? How did you modify it if so and did you simply dremel to retrofit and paint it black? I've found the e55 hella bi-xenon projectors themselves on theretrofitsource.com What all would be required (i.e. projectors, ballasts, shrouds, bulbs, etc). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. If I can make do it yourself HIDs in my GSR for sub$500 im all for it! Props to all you guys for intuitiveness.

hey pqhdsm,

- Yes, installed in the DRL housing. housing is no longer operational
- Yes, used a dremel to retrofit the 2nd projector then painted everything black.
- parts needed are:
* SSS headlights
* 2nd projector
* shroud
* HID kit (if your HLs dont already come with them)

Sounds like you have a a GSR with non-SSS HLs.... This is a different kettle of fish which will require more work. In the end its not gonna look the same as a SSS headlight
