Sold the '05 VIII in the 1st pic (but kept the wheels) and bought a '10 X MR-T like the one in the 2nd picture. Thank you theho1! Wondering if anybody can put those wheels on the new Evo for me so I can get a visual?

I hate to be a naysayer here, but if you have the X and have the wheels... cant you just put them on the car so you can see how they look yourself?

 

Of course I can. It's a lot easier to see a photoshop picture first though, right? Plus I'm going to wait until I've swapped in a set of TPMS sensors on the Enkeis and lowered the car on coilovers.

 

What size are the wheels?

 

18x9.5 w/+35 offset

 

I like the look but they will be to "sunk" in. The stock wheels are +38. Most people run atleast +25

 

The Dunlop Direzza tires on the wheels right are only 245's because they tend to run wide. When it's time for a new set I'll see how it looks with a 265 and if that's not aggressive enough I can always run a spacer. I've done the aggressive wide stance thing with my VIII and I was always rubbing on big bumps no matter how much or who rolled the rear fenders.

 

Given the two completely different angles of the cars, this was about the best I could come up with.. should give you a ruff idea at least..

The more I look at those wheels on a X MR the more they start to look like the OEM Enkei's on the X GSR. Hmmm. Check the FS threads in the upcoming weeks if you like those RCT4's off my old VIII. I'm not exactly in love with that look.

 

That's exactly what I was thinking.. not that it's a bad thing, since I kinda like the GSR's Enkei stockers.

But out of the 2, I'd probably stick with the BBS's or move to something else entirely different.. just my 2-cents, tho.
