Did some photoshopping on my new MR to help decide what level of debadging would look the best. Feel free to use this as a tool if you're in the same boat as me.


Stock (what a mess, too much crap going on)


Emblem and bottom right (better but the MR seems a bit out of place and the word Lancer is lame IMO)


Emblem and truncated bottom right (What stock should be IMO -- my 2nd choice?)


Bottom right only (the thing looks very bare with the bottom right but no emblem, like a person without a nose)


Emblem only (this is what I'm leaning towards)


Bare (this is my 3rd choice)

 

If i remember correctly there are 2 holes beneath the mitsu badge

 

leave the Mitsubishi diamonds and take off everything else. Its my opinion of course.
You can make the diamond to red or any-color in 5 minutes and $5.

debage it with a hair dryer. Wait until heats up a lot when you cant really touch it, pill it up with a CC or something plastic - then pull it off. then you can wash it clean very easy with rubbing alcohol, and soft cloth, if anything stayed on it.

 

i went with choice 2. just the mitsubishi logo in the center of the trunk.

 

I like the bottom right only.

 

Emblem in the middle only

I dont get the whole wingless thing, it's something you guys in the US really go for..... you dont really see it anywhere else in the world.

This was a creative way that I re-introduced the Evolution logo

 

I debadged the whole thing. Except I took "Evolution" and cut it down to "Evo" painted it black and relocated it to the very bottom right of the trunk.

I want to put the Lancer and Evolution badges on the left (drivers) side of my trunk, and put my SE badge on the right side.

I don't have the FAST key, so I don't have to worry about the ugly chrome circle

 

How about Emblem in the middle and the "MR" botton right?

 

MRs come that way here, but I get what you are saying. If I bought a new MR I would have to put the big wing on.

I'd say emblem only.

 

IMO, just leave the mitsubishi badge.

This is my setup... IMO, the best one... u want to let overpriced German luxos know they're being beat by a lol

The Mitsu + MR Badge only probably looks good too

I always thought of removing the MR badge and placing it on the front right side of the grill, like the Ralliart... that was before I decided to get a GSR instead of course <_<
