I honestly don't think it looks that great positioned portrait style it would make a lot more sense to have it slot in the other way landscape. I assume it's too big for the air vents that way ?

yea its been done but the work to make an pop out system to remove the ipad would cost a lot more. this is a quick removal and you can dock iphone or ipod also.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but i was wanting to put a tablet in my evo for music, tuning, & flashing. One of my concerns was the quality of audio. It seems you tried to address that with the controller you mentioned, but how exactly did you implement that?? How is the sound quality of your tablet system?? Can it please an audiophile? How exactly did you setup the wiring for your audio system? Are you using the stock radio as a piggy back for the audio? or did you ditch it completely?
