Ipad dash build for evo x!!!!
just wanted to chime in that I received my custom harness (audio in only, no docking or charging) and just finished up testing. it works flawlessly with my setup.
His solution makes it extremely easy to go the tablet route for your car entertainment while keeping costs down by keeping your stock speakers and amp. It's also truly plug and play, two harness clips and you are good to go. Couldn't be happier, you all need to PM this guy if you are interested!

+1 for using audiophile-grade controller... I am a big audiophile (should have seen my g35 with all Alpine and JL setup (including W7 subs). I promised my wife this time around I would go crazy so the iPad kit might be it for me this go around, but I am very happy to see you use top notch comp. in this kit.
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but i was wanting to put a tablet in my evo for music, tuning, & flashing. One of my concerns was the quality of audio. It seems you tried to address that with the controller you mentioned, but how exactly did you implement that?? How is the sound quality of your tablet system?? Can it please an audiophile? How exactly did you setup the wiring for your audio system? Are you using the stock radio as a piggy back for the audio? or did you ditch it completely?
