not sure if they are suppose to be installed on top of the black plastic piece. i've tried to search for other installs but had no luck. hopefully someone with the same racks will comment.

 

Yes it goes on the black part. I had a similar rack.

 

 

I so wish I had this... I hate having the roof q clips.

 

Clips jacked up my paint because the door shifts as the car flexes, and the rubber door trim is tore up. Looking into rear hitch.

 

mine doesnt have those attachment points, how do i put a roof rack on? i just got a bikr and now i need roof rack but i dont have the attachment points like this, mine is just the smooth black piece all the way from front to back

 

ill have to get a picture with it done
