CF trunk question
So I recently bought a seibon cf trunk and I really don't know how I feel about being "wingless" and I'm thinking about drilling my trunk to install my oem SSS wing?? maybe I jus need a deck lid or duck bill?? Anyway do any of you have ur oem wing drilled into your carbon trunk?? If so can u post a few pics and let me kno how its holds at higher speeds?? Thanx in advance for your input!!!

I drilled my Seibon CF trunk cause I got sick of being wingless
Even though there is added weight, the trunk is still super light
It flies up when I pop it open
Gotta try and take off one of the springs or something
Anyway, when you drill the holes in your CF trunk, go very slowly so you dont crack the thing
Its not recommended to drill CF parts since they can crack easily, but you should escape with minor damage if you are slow and careful
As for how it holds up at high speeds
I daily the car, so I dont notice a difference
From it being parked, the wing holds onto the trunk like it would on the stock trunk
I hit 130MPH and the wing didnt fly off or anything
Other than that, it holds at freeway speeds
On another note, I dont know about you, but I do wish I had a keyhole in the trunk cause Im not enjoying having to pop the trunk open from the drivers seat all the time
All this is information gathered from a CN9A
Might differ for a CZ4A, but I hope this information does help.
