Carbon fiber engine covers that fit 2011?

so I was wanting to get some stuff to dress up my engine bay all nice since we are getting closer to car show weather. I was going to get the Password JDM engine cover, spark plug cover, and radiator cooling plate but just found out only the cooling plate fits my 2011 properly. Are there any nice ones out there that look as good? I saw the seibon one but thought it looked kinda ugly.

Or if you guys have any other recommendations for something that would look good with my ETs titanium pipe to help the look of the engine bay

You could always do a wire tuck, and powdercoat the valve cover.. But since you have a 2011, you would have to buy an aluminum valve cover since yours is plastic. So it might not be really cost effective. It would add like $300

Ill have to do something. I asked the tech at Mitsubishi about doing a word tuck since I was having warranty stuff done. He said he wouldn't know how to :-/

I think I read you can't replace the valve covers because they don't fit properly?

Just seems odd everyone with the newer evos have little options regarding this stuff

Edit: if I was able to switch the valve cover, would this allow the engine covers that fit older X's to work?

Ill spend a little more if I have to, otherwise my titanium uicp from ets will be very out of place. So I need to make the rest of it to look better than red and black plastic

It will fit..

And there aren't that many options for engine covers..

Subtle, Seibon, Rexpeed, PW JDM, eBay stuff.. or a wire tuck and powdercoating..

There might be a couple more options but thats about it.

I think I'll look into the aluminum valve cover, would it just be OEM?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has to do with Mitsubishi switching to plastic valve covers

Definitely get the oem metal cover and powder coat. The plastic engine cover is horrible. CF or not... IMO

I know that there is less actual holes for screws with covers in the newer ones. And I read something else about Passwords air box not being able to sit low enough on the newer ones also. I've just always planned going ets on that though

IMO just get the metal valve cover and powdercoat it. On the upside when you go bigger turbo you wont have to worry about the heat melting things as you would with the plastic one. If you really really really want a carbon fiber engine cover, I believe rexpeed makes a dry carbon one. Personally i like the PW-JDM covers. They should also fit from 08-13. Someone correct me if im wrong on that one. The intake im like meh, on just because I enjoy my ETS one.

I do want to get the aluminum valve cover, but AMS is the only site I've found it on, and I'm pretty sure theirs are overpriced.
