opticoat 2.0.

Very SAFE to use.

Its my first time doing it.
It is REALLY easy to do actualy.

1. Make sure your paint's clear coat is already polished and clean. Opticoat is basically another hardening coat that bonds on the outside of the clearcoat physically.
2. Put opticoat on a supplied foam drops at a time.
3. Wipe in verticle then horizontal motion on paint.
4. Use indirect light to check excess solution not flashing into vapor. Use microfiber clothe supplied to lightly wipe off in one sweep or two without adding pressure.
5. Excess solution will evaporate.
6. Let cure
7. Voila. Extra coating.

Youtube "opticoat how to"

This stuff only cost me $76 shipped from amazon.

Basically.
1. Make sure paint is detailed. (This is 90% of the work)
2. Apply opticoat and wipe off excess.
3. Let cure
4. Drive like you are MAD!!!!!!

REALLY EASY.

Wash with dishwashing detergent to strip of all previous wax. then apply.

opticoat is a polymer (physical & chemical) bond that you want to the original clear coat.

then after that waxing is optional but it wont be as effective because opticoat has inherent repellent properties that works better than waxing.

Unfortunately, it's a lot more than that.

You really have to do a full paint correction (wash, strip wax, clay bar, compound, polish) before applying opti-coat. Any scratches or swirls that are left in the clearcoat, will be locked in there once you apply opti-coat.

So, make sure to do a full paint correction before doing opti-coat

Clay bar...I'd have forgotten that

I get all megguires stuff at cost too and some commercial stuff you can't buy if anyone needs it, and sometimes you can just walk into an auto body supply store and they'll sell to you.

Yeah it's good stuff. Opticoat is definitely the best thing you can do to your car as far as detailing goes. I do detailing and I offer this service to my customers, and I highly recommend it.
