Hey guys

I've just bought and installed a defi racer boost gauge, and when I wot the car the boost spikes to about 22psi and then almost instantly drops and wobbles between 15 and 18 by 7k. Is it normal for the stock boost to do this? Or could the gauge be faulty? The car is full stock.

From my experience I do see the boost spike a little on the X's. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

 

stock X boost is 21/22 tapering to 15/16 by redline

 

totally normal, the stock wastegate actuator can only hold about 18 psi
