Evo X CMC replacement

Well its come to the end and I do not want Mitsubishi putting another pos CMC in on a recall. So I am Looking for some insight on brands I've come across Magnus, AMS, and SSP. Feel free to add to that list if there's one I missed and I'm not looking for a full review but more then "All are good". Thanks

do the magnus or ams. They are simply adapters to fit an evo ix metal cmc. Make sure you get an oem evo ix cmc with the kit, there are knockoff evo ix cmc's that are prone to fail.

But either the magnus or the ams will function great as long as you pair it with an oem evo ix cmc. It's the only real solution to the problem.

I'd just do the free recal though if I were in your shoes, why pay if you don't have to.

Same happened with me but the dealer said "it wasn't a recall" so I went with the ams one a ***** to put in by myself at least .... Then got a letter stating it was a recall so I got my money back through Mitsubishi ...but ya ams one it's working great for me

maperformance has a much cheaper one then ams and does well. you have the option between the oem evo 9 and an aftermarket one. MAP reps were telling me they havent heard any bad reviews on the aftermarket one and its $60 cheaper.

AMS here and all seems well. Only thing that sucks is the clutch pedal engages stupid high now. I think this is the case with all the after market kits tho..

Magnus was the first company to make the adapter kits work properly. I have had zero problems with mine and have installed it on many other Evos.
