Just horrible. I can't imagine spending $40k (perhaps less if bought used) on a car and butchering it like this. I get the whole 'be creative' dynamic, but this is just sloppy.
Any guesses on the resale value?!?!?!?

I agree. I just looked at the last few pictures and it now looks like a complete hack job.
The initial idea was different, I like a centered exhaust outlet/s. But man you turned it into a complete hack job from the bumper openings, the crappy standard bend piping, and the horrific welding.
This would make even your average civic ricer laugh. Way to hack up a $40K car

Everyone should keep in mind this is a work in progress. Things get worse before they get better.
That being said, at this state, it is terrible. No big deal though as you will continue your path. I would cut a plate of aluminum or carbon fiber out to go over that entire area, like the cardboard you had before and physically attach the tips to that plate, then cut the actual pipe so it is recessed about an inch in from the tip exit.

If this had larger cleaner exhaust tips and the cuts in the diffuser were cleaner etc it would look considerably better then it does right now so hopefully you'll be able to fix it up.

Sending this to your insurance provider, your insurance should be canceled any moment now. In all seriousness though, you do realize modifying the safety aspects of a vehicle really can screw you over right? Lets paint a picture per se, you just got in a minor rear end collision. Body shop pulls the rear bumper to find the crash beam modified. They report this to insurance, now you're paying for everything out of pocket. No insurance company will cover this claim even if other driver is at fault. Just something to think about.
