How Hard Are You On Whoever Tinted Your Windows

So let me understand this -
My tint has zero bubbles or issues
Blocks UV just like other tint
Has complete visibility without haze or issues
Has no streaks or imperfections, looks phenomenal
What would the Huper Optik really get me over what I have installed? I don't go cheap, I go to places that do good work. They had some upgraded tint options there, and didn't even suggest them to me.
I've brought 5 cars to this place, all without issue, and all with immaculate tinting jobs...

If your happy with your $200 jobber thats all that counts right. You could do some wonderful things with an ETS catback exhaust but I will feel a lot better installing an Akro on my car. Is it better....to me it is, that's all that matters right.

I could sit here and explain a bunch of crap, but do some research. Huper Optik is one of the top films for optical clarity and appearance depending on what your looking for and there aren't many installers.

I just don't see the gain for 2x on tint that I really couldn't tell the difference between Huper and mine.At the end of the day, do what makes you happy, as I do... however I was a bit taken aback that you spent 400 on a tint job that didn't come out perfectly. 2hours away and having a life / job, I can understand that as well.

^ What everyone failed to mention is that Huper Optik is a heat blocking tint. Your car will run much cooler inside compared to conventional tint like yours.
In order to have the maximum benefit, all glass must be tinted including windshield and sunroof. That is usually what drives the price up as well.
Huper Optik is very similar to 3M Crystalline tint, which is usually a $600-800 tint job.

and radar detector still works with the huper optik, unlike most metallic tints...
Honestly, this is a stupid conversation and you know it napalm. There's always varying levels of quality in products and to some people it matters and others it doesn't. Just like you don't see the benefit to going to huper optik over your tint, I could never understand spending 4k on the akropovic. There are much cheaper and lighter full titanium exhaust options available, or there are dual tip designs that sound great.
so how about we call it to each their own?
