Exclamation EVO X Gets Advan Wheels and Toyo Tires

Believe us when we say this will not be the last set of wheels on our EVO X! But for now, we pulled from our huge Volk and Advan inventory these 18x9 Advan RS in Gunmetal. With a 29mm offset, the multispoke wheels give the EVO X red a good contrast. Thanks to Toyo Tires, we have the all new Toyo R1R tires in a 255/35/18. These are a pretty aggressive street tire and we look forward to running them down! We also took some Red Lug Nuts from the shelf for that full look. The stock wheels and tires weighed about 49lbs where these Advan and Toyo combo weighed in at 44lbs.

We also tested fitted our 18x8.5 Agency Power wheels which fit perfect and test fitted a stock EVO IX MR wheel in 17x8 which was a NO GO.

I think a nice set of 19x10 need to come next with some suspension! Or do we have some suspension already????

What do you all think??

wait, stock is 245/40/18, right? wouldn't 255/35/18 be too small?

Does the car already have a suspension on it? I may be wrong but the wheel gap seems to be greatly reduced from stock.
