rear sway and drift

Will adding a bigger/stronger rear sway bar make the car easier to drift?

Also pulling the fuse to the front wheels will convert it to RWD and really make it easy to drift...kidding but it works in GTR's. What the hell are you trying to drift an AWD car for? LMK when you put it into a wall, curb, tree, or other foreign object.

This thread sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

I don't really want to drift the car. I was just wondering if I will be losing my margin of safety by adding a rear sway bar.

Will an upgraded front sway bar increase oversteer?

Not if used as a pair. Do both sways.

I also recommend doing the front and rear together.

The Evo is not the easiest car to drift, especially with the X. The car likes to correct itself so aggressively that it wont let itself get REALLY sideways.

Ressurected this from the dead but... Why the hell would you not want to drift an Evo? It's the single most fun thing you can do with the car once you master it. I agree though it's not the easiest thing ... Actually it's not easy at all..

I'm speaking from experience from my VIII and IX. We used to gather up at some roundabout and drift around it all night long

I find the evo x tail happy stock. With the recent snow, this has become only more apparent.

In deep snow it's so easy to drift the evo X for sure. Even then the ASC is always trying to correct you, kind of irritates me-dam warnings! On tarmac, forget about it.

this car is so easy to break traction, even with the awd it's not even funny. and i used to drift an 85 corolla with barely 100hp. kinda makes the evo boring though. not a challenge to "drift", just mash the gas.

but then again i didn't buy this car to drift.......
