I'll give my 20k miles report:

So far they are still relatively comfortable but I've noticed some wheel hop at my last trip to the drag strip which would get worse depending on tire pressures I ran. For smooth roads they are fine, rougher roads they can be a bit bouncy if going around turns and I feel like the stock shocks are starting to fall behind keeping the car stable. Part of the problem is that the 19" wheels/tires with shorter/stiffer sidewalls are also altering the effective spring rate as well as the rear anti sway bar. I bet if I got my shocks revalved to be ~20% stiffer it would be a better handling combo but it will be ok for now. Usually if I'm at the limits I'm (hopefully) on a smooth track.

Plans are to get a mid range Coilover setup suitable for the street or track in the spring as I think the stock shocks are going to be on their way out after 2-3 years.

I have the Eibach pros and am looking to replace them ASAP, I f***ing hate them there is too much wheel bounce after a while. They were stiff at first, but now I hate them, I will sell you mine for $150 shipped if you want them.

i had them on my 03 civic turbo for the longest time. i loved them on that car. i didnt track it to often, just kept it on the roads of killeen, and they were fine. same with my evo, i dont plan on tracking it that often until i get another daily driver. id hate to break something on the evo and be caught up in a bind. cant really fit a family on a bike lol

Bounce? Could be blown struts. Never had that problem with my pro-kits.

Its not much of a bounce like a ball but when I hit a bump I wish they were a little more stiff. Sorry for not being more specific.

Your previous experiences with Eibachs on other cars are irrelevant. Everything is different, from drop, to spring rates, vehicle weight, shocks, suspension geometries, ....etc.

i put my eibach pro kit on about 3 months ago. im getting a clunking noise from the front struts, ive tryed to find the noise but i couldnt so i took it to the dealership and they asked if i cut the bump stops on insulation when i installed the springs. they then told me that the noise was my struts bottoming out on the bump stops and want to charge me 420 to cut them. does anyone know how much i should cut off?
