TPMS Service light?

Note that the guy above you said that the type of TPMS sender in all Lancers have unique IDs. He didn't say that they had to be Mitsu senders. Lots of places -- including the sponsor of this forum, Tire Rack -- sell Mitsu-Lancer-compatible (VDO) senders.

True. I wouldn't doubt they had or will make one that is more compatible.
Simplest solution is to ask the dealer. Every car is different

My understanding was that the car kept track of which sensor was at each corner. If that is the case, then you would need to make sure they were put back in the correct order or have the computer re-initialize them.

All right, got it fixed. Thank god it just needed to be reprogrammed. They told me they lost programming. Whatever... Thanks for help everyone!

Is there any sort of a manual reset for the tpms computer? Mine seem to have lost programming as well.

TPMS = huge pain in the ***. Another gotcha is to check your spare tire. People commonly forget about checking air pressure in the spare, which will also set off TPMS in some vehicles.
