Lowering and rear camber?
Lowering and rear camber?
Getting coilovers for the Evo and wondering if I need aftermarket camber bolts in the rear to keep the camber where I want it after lowering the car? Every car I have had when I lowered it the camber went way negative. The coilovers I am getting have front camber plates so fronts wont be an issue, but they don't offer plates for the rear. So will I need to find rear camber bolts/arms to get my rear camber back to -1.4 - -1.1 area? Thanks.
It depends on how low you want to go. OEM components only give so much adjustment. if you plan on going more than 2", pick up a camber kit.
If you can't afford the camber kit now, at least get your toe aligned. Camber doesn't damage tires nearly as much as toe.

I can afford the camber bolts now, but if I can get my target camber settings without them then I don't want to spend the $ if I don't have to. I doubt I will drop 2 inches. Probably more like 1.5 inch drop. Also don't want to get the coilovers installed, get an alignment and then have them say they can't get the #'s I want and have to buy the bolts and then pay for another alignment...that would suck.
I think I found the bolts I would need SPC part # 81261 for $14.96 each

Looks like those camber bolts are for the front only. No bolts for the rear. Have to get camber arms which cost a lot more. I may try without 1st and see where I am at camber wise.
wht line and works make off set bushings for this...simple sweet and easy. The bolts can slip and cause issues, the bushings have an off set center and will allow additonal adj over stock and provide a solid mount. Just my 2c.
