How to install Eibach Rear Sway bar with stock Endlink

Trying to help others out there, I contacted the manufacturer of my rear sway bar and adjustable endlinks asking how to avoid pre-load when installing. They said:
"The car must be level and at ride height first. Then you adjust the link till it will go in with no force and that way there is no pre load in straight line."
So what I think this would mean to other users is if you are planning to use the stock end-links, you better hope they line up to exactly the holes you want on your RSB or you will be putting preload on them no matter whether you tighten before or after on the ground.
