I have a question: if I let a set of wheels with these (programmed) sit in my garage for lets say, entire summer, do I have to "wake" them up when I put the wheels back on in the winter?

I have a 2012 MR.

FYI - I have a 2013 Evo MR running these units. No problems at all! Definitely recommended!

So anyway, Firestone was able to get my Hexidec, and Sams only Dec, but I just tried converting all of the decimals that Sam's Club gave me and they converted exactly to the correct (and now working!!) hexidecimal numbers!

Who knew...? *ugh* Its all set now! Highly recommend this approach. Now I won't have to pay anyone to touch my TPMS (unless a sensor ever goes bad, knock on wood).
That knocking on wood did not last long and now two of my Sens.It sensors are dead (battery). So now I need two replacements... but it seems like tire shops can now program our vehicles computer finally, so I am not sure which approach to take. Kinda frustrated the batteries in the aftermarkets only lasted 2.5 years... doesn't seem very durable of a life for such an expensive product. And having to swap out these sensors every 2.5 years doesn't really give me the solution I was looking for

Yeah. I've had two go. One after just a year. The other three years out.

They use a non-standard battery that's resistance welded to some tabs so its not a quick or easy repair.

Still, it's easier and cheaper than 1hr labor per car twice a year!

Looks like the part numbers changed on Myers and there are alternatives available as well at this point:

Possibly an option. Found out that the Snap-on TPMS3 tool can program several of the aftermarket sensors now. I'm trying to find a programmable replacement for one of mine that went bad. NGS has been MIA, maybe he's on vacation...

I got my TPMS sensors from NGS about 2 weeks ago. He's still around, just not on as much it seems.

Well, couldn't wait any longer for a response, so I ordered a replacement from Myers. Turns out its dead and won't respond at all. Luckily a local NAPA had an Echlin programmable in stock, part number is 92-1096C for those interested. Now I have to try and get a refund from Myers... (Yeah, right)

Sens-it is now selling directly on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M1SBNAF
It looks like they updated the sensors and they're cheaper than Myers was selling them for.

20% off through the end of Oct. too (coupon code is in the listing)

Of course, after I spent $70+ from Myers and then another $60 from NAPA.
