I think you'll be disappointed in those pads, they don't brake as well as stock in initial bite or overall stopping power.

I had the hawk hps pads on my old 350Z I thought it was a great pad with low dust and no noise.

They are a lot less dusty than stock but I ran a set on my 08 Evo X and I can tell you they don't grip nearly as well as the factory pads and way less than a lot of aftermarket pads.

I'd recommend the Hawk HP+ if you're wanting a Hawk pad, it's something a little closer to or better than stock. If you don't mind a more aggressive pad that has about the same dust as stock I'd recommend the Ferodo DS2500's they are amazing, good initial bite but not overkill and very predictable; definitely stops harder than stock.

i've heard the same thing about hawk hps pads and evos.

some say it's a weight issue and they do better on ligher cars; that's why they are big with honda folk.

i run hawk hps on the front of my DD corolla and it's beastly in the brake department.
